The Company ranked the third on China’s foreign trade top 500 private enterprises in 2010.

The Ministry of Commerce and Statistical Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of China issued the rank of China’s foreign trade top 500 private enterprises in 2010 on August 12. The Sinopec continued to rank first, the increase of the import and export value USD 85.1 billion was over 56% compared with the value USD 55.1 billion dollars of 2009.
The data in the List of the enterprises showed that there were 424 in the eastern area, 24 in the midland, 13 in the western region and 39 in the central parts. The disparity of the number of the enterprises distributed in region reflects the severe unbalance still exists in the regional economy development of our country.
Looking from the regional distribution of the total import and export value, the eastern area takes up 71.06% of top 500 enterprises with USD 807.207 billion while the China’s central enterprises holding 23.48% with USD 266.691 billion. The integrity of the former and the latter occupies up to 94.54 %. The foreign trade of our country is still guided mainly by the eastern and the central enterprises.
To assert China’s private foreign trade enterprises, decision is made to add the separate rank as of 2011 apart from the rank of China’s foreign trade top 500 private enterprises.
There only 4 private enterprises gave access to China’s import and export top 500 enterprises in 2001, but the number increased to be 44 in 2010.
